After serving my country for over 25 years in the Army and with a track record of local and military leadership, I’m ready to take on a new mission, a mission that includes increasing educational opportunities for our children, continued improvements in the criminal justice system, addressing housing issues and veterans advocacy. My mission is to run for a seat in the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 22. I’m proud to call District 22 my home. In my 20 years of residence here, I’ve raised a family and given back to the community through involvement in Durham Public Schools, Durham’s parks and recreation system, and most recently in the Bragtown community through Veterans of Foreign Wars outreach and the development of VFW property for affordable housing. My life experiences and passion for the community in which I live and already serve will enable me to bring a fresh perspective to the North Carolina Senate. And I guarantee no one will work harder to ensure that the interests of District 22 are heard loud and clear.
